With his roots originating from the region of Sicily, ITALY, Leonardo Rocco is a first generation Italian-American who currently resides in San Francisco, CA. He was born in New York (where his family currently resides) and set off for Michigan (GMI) where he achieved degrees in Mechanical Engineering and MIS.
After starting his career as an engineer, Leo transitioned to the software arena where he held various positions in Sales, Product Marketing, Professional Services, and Business Development at PTC, an enterprise software company providing product lifecycle management solutions. His responsibilities were focused on providing solutions to some of the world's largest manufacturers and product development companies, some of which include: NASA, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, HP, Intel, Ford, GM, Harley Davidson, and Ferrari.
Now at IBM, he continues this focus and is responsible for managing the global enterprise software development relationship, with IBM's top technology customers, such as Intel, Cisco, HP, and eBay.
Other interests include: World History and Politics, Learning new cultures, Enjoying spending time with his family and friends, and coordinating fundraising events, such as the the
"Boss of the Sauce".
As FIERI International's President, Leo is leading the FIERI "Renascimento" campaign across all FIERI interests, both nationally and internationally.
